अध्याय १० शलोक २ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 2 Shloka 2  मेरी उत्पति को अर्थात्त् लीला से प्रकट होने को न देवता लोग जानते है और न महषि जन ही जानते है; क्योंकि मै सब प्रकार से देवताओ का और महषियों का भी आदिकारण हूँ ।। २ ।। Even the Deities and the greatest of wiseman do not know the secret of my birth in this world (in human form). अध्याय १० शलोक ३ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 3 Shloka 3  जो मुझको अजन्मा  अर्थात्त् वास्तव में जन्मरहित, अनादि और लोकों का महान ईश्वर तत्व से जानना है, वह मनुष्यों में ज्ञानवान् पुरुष सम्पूर्ण पापो से मुक्त्त हो जाता है ।। ३ ।। The Blessed Lord declared: He who fully understands ME (in all respects) as being without a beginning or an end,and Lord of the universe,is truly the wisest person among all men and is released from all his sins. अध्याय १० शलोक ४,५ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 4,5 Shloka 4,5  निश्चय करने की शक्त्ति, यथार्थ ज्ञान,  असम्मूढता, क्षमा, सत्य, इन्द्रियों का वश में करना, मन का निग्रह तथा सुख-दुःख, उत्पत्ति-प्रलय और भय-अभय तथा अहिंसा, समता, संतोष, तप, दान, कीर्ति और अपकीर्ति–ऎसे ये प्राणियो के नाना प्रकार के भाव मुझ से ही होते है ।। ४-५ ।। The intellect, the GYAN (Supreme Knowledge), understanding, forbearance, truth, control over the mind and senses, joys, sorrows, birth, death, fear, fearlessness, non-violence, even-mindedness, contentment, austerity, charity, fame, infamy, all of these and other diverse elements that surround life in this world, arise and begin from ME, the Supreme Soul. अध्याय १० शलोक ६ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 6 Shloka 6  सात महषिजन, चार उनसे भी पूर्व में होने वाले सनकादि स्वयम्भुव आदि चौदह मनु —-ये मुझ में भाव वाले सब-के-सब मेरे संकल्प से उत्पन्न हुए है, जिनकी संसार में यह सम्पुर्ण प्रजा है ।। ६ ।। The seven great sages (wisemen), their four elders (such as SANAK and the others) and the fourteen MANUS (the forefathers and originators of man-kind, namely SWAYAMBHU MANU and the generation that followed him), who were all my great devotees and were born out of MY will, all the beings that have evolved in the world are descendents of these devotees of mine. अध्याय १० शलोक ७ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 7 Shloka 7  जो पुरुष मेरी इस परमेश्वर्य रूप विभूति को और योग शक्त्ति को तत्व जानता है, वह निश्चल भक्त्ति योग से युक्त्त हो जाता है—इसमे कुछ भी संशय नहीं है ।। ७ ।। He who fully understands my Supreme Glories and the divine powers of Yoga, will undoubtedly achieve the most Supreme goal of a lifetime, and that is, to become united and enjoined with ME. अध्याय १० शलोक ८ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 8 Shloka 8  मैं वासुदेव ही सम्पूर्ण जगत्त् की उत्पत्ति का कारण हूँ और मुझ से ही सब जगत्त् चेष्टा करता है, इस प्रकार समझ कर श्रद्भा और भक्त्ति से युक्त्त बुद्भिमान् भक्त्तजन मुझ परमेश्वर को निरन्तर भजते है ।। ८ ।। Arjuna, recognize Me as the eternal source and MAKER of all that exists in this world. It is because of ME that anything can move in this world. Those who truly know and understand this, are wise people and shall always worship ME with full faith and devotion. अध्याय १० शलोक ९ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 9 Shloka 9  निरन्तर मुझ मे मन लगाने वाले और मुझ में ही प्राणो को अर्पण करने वाले* भक्त्त जन मेरी भक्त्ति की चर्चा के द्भारा आपस मे मेरे प्रभाव को जानते हुए तथा गुण और प्रभाव सहित मेरा कथन करते हुए ही निरन्तर संतुष्ट होते हैं और मुझ वासुदेव में ही  निरन्तर रमण करते हैं  ।। ९ ।। Those faithful devotees, of MINE whose mind are constantly fixed on ME, enlightening each other spiritually about ME and are always talking about my divine attributes and virtues, are forever contented and delighted. अध्याय १० शलोक १० The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 10 Shloka 10  उन निरन्तर मेरे ध्यान आदि में लगे हुए और प्रेम पूर्वक भजने वाले भक्त्तों को मैं वह. तत्व ज्ञान रुप योग देता हूँ. जिससे वे मुझको ही प्राप्त होते हैं ।। १० ।। My true devotees are constantly attached to ME and worship ME with love. अध्याय १० शलोक ११ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 11 Shloka 11  हे अर्जुन ! उनके ऊपर अनुग्रह करने के लिये उनके अन्तः -करण में स्थित हुआ मै स्वयं ही उनके अज्ञान जनित अन्धकार को प्रकाश मय तत्व ज्ञान रूप दीपक के द्बारा नष्ट कर देता हूँ ।। ११ ।। While dwelling in the hearts of my devotees, I shed MY divine grace upon them and through the light that emanates from the lamp of knowledge (GYAN), I rid them of their darkness that has evolved from their ignorance. अध्याय १० शलोक १२,१३ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 12,13 Shloka 12,13  अर्जुन बोले—-आप परम ब्रह्रा, परम धाम और परम पवित्र है ; क्योंकि आपको सब ऋषिगण सनातन दिव्य पुरुष एवं देवों का भी आदिदेव, अजन्मा और सर्व व्यापी कहते हैं, वैसे ही देवषि नारद तथा असित और देवल ऋषि तथा महषि व्यास भी कहते हैं और स्वयं आप भी मेरे प्रति कहते है ।। १२-१३।। Arjuna said: Dear Lord, You are the highest, the absolute the Supreme, Eternal and everlasting, the greatest purifier, the ultimate resort, Surpasser of all boundaries known to man, the origin of all Deities, the omni-present Spirit, and filled with spiritual Divinity. अध्याय १० शलोक १४ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 14 Shloka 14  हे केशव ! जो कुछ भी मेरे प्रति आप कहते हैं, इस सब को मैं सत्य मानता हूँ । हे भगवन् ! आपके लीलामय, स्वरूप को न तो दानव जानते हैं और न देवता ही ।। १४ ।। Lord Krishna, I accept all of the Knowledge that You have bestowed upon ME as true. I have also understood, dear Lord, that your very manifestation and origin is not understood by Deities let alone demons. अध्याय १० शलोक १५ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 15 Shloka 15  हें भूतों को उत्पन्न करने वाले ! हे भूतों के ईश्वर ! हे देवों के देव ! जगत्त् के स्वामी ! हे पुरुषोतम ! आप स्वयं ही अपने से अपने को जानते हैं ।।१५।। Arjuna continued: O Krishna, Originator of all, Lord of all beings, Lord of all Deities, Master and Creator of the World, the FIRST among all men, you alone in this universe, truly know Yourself. अध्याय १० शलोक १६ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 16 Shloka 16  इसलिये आप ही उन अपनी दिव्य विभूतियों को सम्पूर्णता से कहने में समर्थ हैं, जिन विभूतियों के द्बारा आप इन सब लोकों को व्याप्त करके स्थित हैं ।। १६।। Therefore, dear Lord, only You alone can describe to me,the divine glories through which You exist, constantly watching the whole world. अध्याय १० शलोक १७ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 17 Shloka 17  हे योगेश्वर ! मै किस प्रकार निरन्तर चिन्तन करता हुआ आपको जानूं और हे भगवन् ! आप किन-किन भावों में मेरे द्बारा चिन्तन करने योग्य हैं ? ।। १७ ।। Lord Krishna, please, fully describe to me, how I shall truly know you by constantly meditating upon you. अध्याय १० शलोक १८ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 18 Shloka 18  हे जनार्दन ! अपनी योग शक्त्ति को और विभूति को फिर भी विस्तार पूर्वक कहिये; क्योकि आपके अमृत मय वचनों को सुनते हुए मेरी तृप्ति नहीं होती अर्थात् सुनने की उत्कण्ठा बनी ही रहती है ।। १८ ।। Arjuna demanded further: Lord Krishna, once again, describe fully to me, your divine glories and supreme splendour. अध्याय १० शलोक १९ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 19 Shloka 19  श्रीभगवान् बोले—हे कुरूश्रेष्ठ ! अब मैं जो मेरी दिव्य विभूतियां हैं, उनको तेरे लिये प्रधानता से कहूँगा; क्योंकि मेरे विस्तार का अन्त नहीं है ।। १९ ।। The Blessed Lord said: You are blessed O Best of the KURUS; hence I will declare to you my Divine Glory by its chief characteristics; there is no end to details of Me. अध्याय १० शलोक २० The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 20 Shloka 20  हे अर्जुन ! मैं सब भूतों के ह्रदय में स्थित सबका आत्मा हूँ तथा सम्पूर्ण भूतों का आदि, मध्य और अन्त भी मैं ही हूँ ।। २० ।। I, O Gudakesha (the conqueror of slumber) am the soul, seated in the heart of all beings. अध्याय १० शलोक २१ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 21 Shloka 21  मै अदिति के बारह पुत्रों में विष्णु और ज्योतियों में किरणों वाला सूर्य हूँ तथा मैं उन्नचास वायु देवताओं का तेज और नक्षत्रों का अधिपति चन्द्रमा हूँ ।। २१ ।। Among the sons of light I am Vishnu; of radiances, the Glorious Sun. अध्याय १० शलोक २२ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 22 Shloka 22  मै वेदों में सामवेद हूँ, देवों में इन्द्र हूँ, इन्द्रियों में मन हूँ और भूत-प्राणियों की चेतना अर्थात् जीवन शक्त्ति हूँ ।। २२ ।। Of the Vedas I am the Veda of songs, I am Indra, the Chief of Gods I am the mind amongst the senses, and in all living beings I am the light of consciousness. अध्याय १० शलोक २४ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 24 Shloka 24  पुरोहितों में मुखिया बृहस्पति मुझको जान । हे पार्थ ! मैं सेनापतियों में स्कन्द और जलाशयों में समुद्र हूँ ।। २४ ।। I am the divine priest, Brihaspati among the priest, and among warriers Skanda, the God of war. अध्याय १० शलोक २५ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 25 Shloka 25  मै महर्षियों में भृगु और शब्दों में एक अक्षर अर्थात् ओंकार हूँ ।  सब प्रकार से यज्ञों में जप यज्ञ और स्थिर रहने वालों में हिमालय पहाड़ हूँ ।। २५ ।। I am Bhrigu among great seers and of words I am OM, the word of eternity. अध्याय १० शलोक २८ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 28 Shloka 28  मैं शस्त्रों में वज्र और गौओं में कामधेनु हूँ । शास्त्रोक्त्त रीति से संतान की उत्पति का हेतु कामदेव हूँ और सर्पों में सर्पराज वासुकि हूँ ।। २८ ।। Of weapons I am the thunderbolt, and of cows the cow of wonder. अध्याय १० शलोक २९ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 29 Shloka 29  मैं नागों में शेषनाग और जलचरों का अधिपति वरुण देवता हूँ और पितरों में अर्यमा नामक पितर तथा शासन करने वालों में यमराज मैं हूँ ।। २९ ।। Among the snakes of mystery I am Ananta, and of those born in waters I am Varuna, their Lord. अध्याय १० शलोक ३१ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 31 Shloka 31  मैं पवित्र करने वालों में वायु और शस्त्र धारियों में श्रीराम हूँ तथा मछलियों में मगर हूँ और नदियों में श्रीभागीरथी गंगा जी हूँ ।। ३१ ।। I am the wind among things of purification, and among warriors I am Rama, the hero supreme. अध्याय १० शलोक ३२ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 32 Shloka 32  हे अर्जुन !सृष्टियों का आदि और अन्त तथा मध्य भी मै ही हूँ । मैं विद्याओं में अध्यात्म विद्या अर्थात् ब्रह्मविद्या और परस्पर विवाद करने वालों का तत्व-निर्णय के लिये किया जाने वाला वाद हूँ ।। ३२ ।। I am the beginning and the middle and the end of all that is. अध्याय १० शलोक ३३ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 33 Shloka 33  मैं अक्षरों में अकार हूँ और समासों में द्वन्द्व नामक समास हूँ, अक्षय काल अर्थात् काल का भी महाकाल तथा सब ओर मुख वाला, विराट् स्वरूप सब का धारण-पोषण करने वाला भी मै ही हूँ ।। ३३ ।। Of sounds I am the first sound ‘A’. अध्याय १० शलोक ३४ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 34 Shloka 34  मैं सबका नाश करने वाला मृत्यु और उत्पन्न होने वालों का उत्पति हेतु हूँ तथा स्त्रियों में कीर्ति,श्री,वाक् स्मृति, मेधा,धृति और क्षमा हूँ ।। ३४ ।। I am death that carries off all things, and I am the source of things to come. अध्याय १० शलोक ३५ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 35 Shloka 35  तथा गायन करने योग्य श्रुतियों में मैं बृहत्साम और छन्दों में गायत्री छन्द हूँ तथा महीनों में मार्ग शीर्ष और ऋतुओं में बसन्त मैं हूँ ।। ३५।। I am the Brihat song of all songs in the Vedas. अध्याय १० शलोक ३६ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 36 Shloka 36  मैं छ्ल करने वालों में जूआ और प्रभावशाली पुरुषो का प्रभाव हूँ । मैं जीतने वालों का विजय हूँ, निश्चय करने वालों का निश्चय और सात्विक पुरुषों का सात्विक भाव हूँ ।। ३६ ।। I am the cleverness in the gambler’s dice. I am the beauty of all things beautiful. I am victory and the struggle for victory. I am the goodness of those who are good. अध्याय १० शलोक ३७ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 37 Shloka 37  वृष्णिवंशियों में वासुदेव अर्थात् मैं स्वयं तेरा सखा पाण्डवों में धनंजय अर्थात् तू, मुनियों में वेद-व्यास और कवियों में शुक्राचार्य  कवि भी मैं ही हूँ ।। ३७ ।। Of all the children of Vrishni I am Krishna; and of the sons of Pandu I am Arjuna, Among seers in silence I am Vyasa; and among poets the poet Usana. अध्याय १० शलोक ३८ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 38 Shloka 38  मैं दमन करने वालों का दण्ड अर्थात् दमन करने की शक्त्ति हूँ, जीतने की इच्छा वालों की नीति हूँ, गुप्त रखने योग्य भावों का रक्षक मौन हूँ और ज्ञानवानों का तत्व ज्ञान मै ही हूँ ।। ३८ ।। I am the sceptre of rulers of men; and I am the wise policy of those who seeks victory. अध्याय १० शलोक ३९ The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 39 Shloka 39  और हे अर्जुन ! जो सब भूतों की उत्पत्ति का कारण है, वह भी मै ही हूँ, क्योंकि ऐसा वह चर और अचर कोई भी भूत नहीं है, जो मुझसे रहित हो ।। ३९ ।। Arjuna, know that I am the seed of all things that are, and that no being that moves or moves not can ever be without Me. अध्याय १० शलोक ४० The Gita – Chapter 10 – Shloka 40 Shloka 40  हे परंतप ! मेरी दिव्य विभूतियों का अन्त नहीं है, मैंने अपनी विभूतियों का विस्तार तो तेरे लिये एक देश से अर्थात् संक्षेप से कहा है ।। ४० ।। There is no end of my divine qualities, Arjuna.
